Contact

Start with the form

We handle enquiries in writing. Send the form below and we reply by email to the address you give, with questions about your pace and a first draft of the route.

How to reach us

The form at the foot of this page is the way to contact us. It goes straight to the planning team, and the reply comes by email to the address you give. We do not publish a telephone number, office address or messaging account on this site for now.

Writing has one advantage over a call for a trip like this: your grade, dates and health notes are on record, and so is every answer we give.

What to write

The essentials

  • When you can travel, and how fixed the dates are
  • How many people, and whether anyone will not ride
  • The tour you are interested in, or the regions

What helps us plan the right grade

  • Your longest ride in the last three months, with its hills
  • Whether you have kayaked before
  • Injuries, knee or back problems, heat sensitivity
  • Anything you would hate: long transfers, early starts, steps

What you can leave out

Passport details, card numbers and anything you would not want in an email. We ask for booking details only after you accept a quote.

What happens next

  1. 01

    Questions

We may come back with a few questions about pace and dates before drafting anything.

  2. 02

    Draft

A day-by-day draft with distances, climbing and hours, and a note on the weather risks for your month.

  3. 03

    Quote

A written quote with each cost line when the route is agreed.

  4. 04

    Booking

Deposit and booking only after you accept, on the booking terms linked at the foot of the page.

The how-to-book page sets out each step in more detail.

Before you write, you may want to read

  • Difficulty grades: the four-step scale and a self-check.
  • When to go: the month-by-month chart for each region.
  • Safety: the van, helmets, insurance and the weather day.
  • Prices: the lines in a quote and the third-party prices we pass through.
  • All tours: the five routes side by side.

Clubs, families and mixed groups

Parties of up to twelve travel on one tour with one van. Above eight riders on a riding day we add a second guide, so a slower group and a faster group can split and meet again at lunch. Families can mix bikes, a trailer where available and van time; tell us the children's ages and their longest ride.

If your group is larger than twelve, we will say so plainly in the first reply rather than stretch a route that was not built for it. Two parties travelling a day apart on the same route is sometimes the answer; sometimes it is not.

Whatever the size, the grade question is the same: write the longest recent ride of the least experienced rider, and of the strongest. That pair of numbers decides the plan more than anything else in the form.

During your trip

Once you are travelling, your guide is your contact for everything on the ground: changes to the day, a ride in the van, a problem with a room. The final itinerary you receive before departure explains how to reach the guide and the local team.

Your data

What the form collects, why, and how long we keep it is set out in the privacy policy, linked at the foot of every page. In short: we use your details to plan and quote your trip.

Common questions

Questions travellers ask most

How do I contact you?

Through the enquiry form on this page or at the foot of any page. We reply by email to the address you give.

Can I send a route I found elsewhere?

Yes. Paste it into the notes box. We will tell you what we would change and why, including the grade we would give it.

Can I ask a question without planning a trip?

Yes. Choose Not sure yet in the form and write your question in the notes.

Tell us about the trip you have in mind

Dates, party size and the grade you are comfortable with are enough to start. You get a draft route with daily distances and a quote for that route, not a brochure.

Add more detail optional — the more you tell us, the closer the first draft lands
No payment is asked for until you accept a written quote.
